My butterflies are havin' a hey day; they know today's the day
Right now I can't think of nothin' else but winnin' the race
There's the shot I just took off runnin' right out of the gate
And came back grinnin' in first place

Today I'm gettin' ready to walk down the aisle
My butterflies lined up in neat little rows
Couldn't talk with my painted on smile
'Til I looked the face of fear right in the nose
